A small contingent of team members with deep cave experience were put on standby to assist with the evacuation of a caver from 1000+ meters deep in a Turkish cave together with small groups from the other UK rescue teams to form a UK team under the BCRC in the event that the already multinational team needed extra manpower.

The teams already on the ground handled the rescue very efficiently and team members were stood down.
