The DCRO Dash

The DCRO Dash is a fast, tough race over the hills south-west of Castleton in the Peak District of Derbyshire.

Aiming to be a major fund-raiser for the local cave rescue team, DCRO, the route passes through some beautiful upland country sandwiched between the moors of the Dark Peak and the valleys of the White Peak … and some of the most severe and rewarding cave venues in the country, and will prove a strong challenge to runners of all abilities.

Race Distance 8.5km
Total Ascent: 370m
GPS devices are allowed, but any deviation from the flagged route will result in disqualification.

No dogs on the race – spectators’ dogs must be on a leash.
